You all know how much I love a red head so you can imagine my heart throbs for ‘cute-as-a-button’ Paloma Faith. Not only does she have a mega voice, she has super style too! I can envisage a mini army of tweens rushing to imitate her corsage-in-hair trademark and ’shine-more-than-a-glitter ball’ look!

Annie Leibovitz is one of my all time favourite photographers! There was a special documentary on her work a year on two back called ‘Life Through a Lens‘ which represents her contribution to the fashion editorial pages of the worlds top fashion magazines! (you should be able to find it on youtube) Now Leibovitz has turned her hand to French fashion house Louis Vuitton to deisgn a one off piece that is to be auctioned off for charity.

Leibovitz will design a monogrammed canvas backpack alongside Marc Jacobs, Damien Hirst and others. Requesting a large enough style to accommodate her personal effects, photo equipment and leave her hands free, Leibovitz’s design is trimmed in black leather and lined in red with a matching shoulder bag.

All designs will be auctioned off at London’s Sotheby’s in London on 17 November in aid of the Red Cross.

Death by stiletto? entering a heavenly world of AMAZING shoes? love it but it is not quite Lagerfeld is it?!

I for one love the Madge circa 1990’s world tour cone bra  and gratefully see it return to our SS10 courtesy of Louise Goldin.

With all this sci-fi hovering around this season I am surprised they (cones) did not emerge sooner. It is clear that Goldin drew inspiration from the  Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra designed specifically for Madonna and it is hard to ignore the influence of the typical Versace colour palette. This is really the design progression from all the bra crops and corsetry we have seen this past season.

Could Goldin sub conciously promoting the new Madonna Celebration Album? I bet madge is sat skantly clad laughing in the face of PR as I type.

Alexa Chung

After today, I would kill for a Mulberry merry-go-round horse as a center piece to my east London pad! A beautiful reception of all things fairground greeted us at Claridges for the eagerly anticipated Mulberry presentation.

The ‘Alexa’ was the words on everyones lips with everyone lusting after this seasons most covetable bag. Inspired by our very own Miss Chung, the Alexa is a modernised take on the Bayswater classic…I am loving it in ink blue but there is also a melt-in-the-mouth butter hue also available!

Also, not one to neglect their love for mini pooches so I refuse to ignore Mulberry’s break into dog attire-  I just can not stop cooing over the canine range of cute cover-ups and of course the pup itself! love.

The BIGGER picture.

Picture 5 (This was my fave party piece of the collection so I chucked it in for good measure – I am such a sucker for Mark Fast and his intricate cut!)

Mark Fast caused a stir backstage when his stylist walked out due to his insistency to use three plus size models in his show next to “regular girls” (hmm regular? yeah, the average british girl is a size zero not a twelve…questionable…I will have to go back to my ‘regular’ mirror and look again!)

Despite the media fuzz surrounding the pro and faux towards his decision I truely loved the collection – for all shapes and sizes! My partcular favourite was the feathery bottom cleavage peep dress – trying to think of an appropriate occassion to wear such a frock…..
